Jason McMeniman Smashes 1770 Real Estate Sales Record!A record sale price per m2 has recently been achieved for a residential property in the Town of 1770.
The two bedroom shack “Sunset Villa” situated at 590 Captain Cook Drive, was recently sold by Harcourts Agnes Water-1770 Sales Consultant, Jason McMeniman, for a record 1.7 Million sale for the 701m2 lot, or $2,425 per m2.
According to Mr McMeniman, the previous sales record for the town was the renowned “Speedys Shack“, a 951m2 property for $2 Million in June 2007.
“The property has a great esplanade location, with premium 1770 inlet views, adjacent beach and just 130 metres to restaurant and bar. There are only 130 properties in the Town of 1770, and due to the beautiful inlet and water views on offer, interest for property in this boutique location is expected to remain high,” Mr McMeniman said.
The Town of 1770 is a picturesque seaside village surrounded on three sides by the Coral Sea and Bustard Bay.
